What can you expect from this role?
As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for a complete and accurate accounting process in accordance with legal standards. You ensure reliable financial information and support management with precise reporting.
Accounting & Reporting
- Perform general accounting tasks according to legal procedures.
- Prepare and submit statutory declarations (e.g. VAT, Intrastat).
- Prepare monthly and annual closings, balance sheets and financial statements.
- Review and process purchase and sales invoices as well as bank transactions.
- Manage customer and supplier accounts, including follow‑up of provisions.
- Manage fixed assets from an accounting perspective.
- Execute weekly payment runs.
Analysis & Support
- Prepare management reports and internal reporting (DOs, KPIs).
- Advise management within your area of expertise.
- Carry out ad‑hoc financial analyses and accounting tasks.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure full compliance with all legal and internal policies regarding accounting, privacy, safety, quality and ethics.
- Report any risks or irregularities promptly to the compliance department.
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting and tax legislation.
Are you the colleague we’re looking for?
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy & Taxation.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience as an accountant.
- You possess strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
- You have excellent command of MS Office, Navision and Routty.
- You are accurate, analytical and results‑oriented.
- You work independently and manage priorities effectively.
